The monastery site of Ihlow is freely accessible all year round.
Klosterstätte Ihlow
The Kloster-Café and the monastery shop
is open on Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
During the opening hours of the monastery café, the room of the search for clues and the ridge turret of the monastery church imagination (tower with viewing platform) can be visited. Parallel to the monastery café, the monastery shop in the historic forester's house is also open.
Tower
The ridge turret of the monastery church imagination can be climbed via a spiral staircase. After 164 steps you’ll have a fantastic view of large parts of East Frisia from the platform at a height of about 30 meters!
